A mansion for your best friend

People with great style and love for design don't have to exclude their best friend from benefiting from it. That was the motivation for the team of communications designer Doria Keppler and event manager André Heinermann when they couldn't find the kind of doghouse they wanted for their four-legged friend. From a purist Bauhaus-style cube to an idyllic Swedish-style house, Best Friend’s HOME offers a type of doghouse that has never been seen before. With the help of an architect, they created this four models, but they're planning on producing other designs. Or if you would rather have one look like your own home, they can handcraft it especially for you — and it doesn't matter where you live since they deliver worldwide. I'm sure my Oliver would love to be a proud owner of one of these luxurious pads, but unfortunately he will have to wait until we have a yard.

Ready for his close-up

Back in July, a dear friend of mine — an avid food blogger herself (SweetBites) — sent me an email to let me know that someone was looking for a white French Bulldog in New York City for a photo shoot. It so happened that it was for a beautiful home style digital magazine called Sweet Paul. After the editor saw some images I emailed him, it was love at first sight.
