Nothing makes me happier than Fridays. What else does the trick? A colorful stunner like this loft in downtown Montreal. There's something so beautiful about the spectacular color blocking used in this 15,000 square-feet, open-plan apartment that's making my day. Its interesting design was conceived by architect Jean Verville for a collector of modern art and design objects. The glossy surfaces together with the prismatic colors make a divine combination. It must be like living inside a box of Prismacolor coloring pencils. Right? Have a fierce weekend!

This charming, yet stunning boutique hotel is the perfect setting for a dreamy getaway. Part of the St. Micheles’ convent built in the XVII century, Capri Suite is a two-room inn located in the heart of the ancient village of Anacapri in the Italian paradise island of Capri. ZETASTUDIO Architects made some incredible design calls when putting together every single space in this lodge. A fresh and breezy color palette of blue and yellow pulls the whole seaside theme together deliciously. What about those modern and groovy furnishings in that old setting? It's over-the-moon fantastic. Capri is sounding really good right now!

Exposed to breathtaking views of the Tyrrhenian Sea, this jewel of a home is the result of the perfect marriage between clever architecture and contemporary art. The villa is located high in the mountains of the Italian island of Capri, which gives it that authentic bright sunlit aura. The whitewashed walls, together with the stone floors, set the perfect scene to enhance the select colorful pieces in the decor. It's evident blue is the color of choice as it's the one hue that's present in every room of the house—perhaps inspired by the alluring deep blue sea that surrounds it. But my favorite feature of all is the impressive stone wall in the shower area that creates a dramatic contrast with the slick design of the bathroom. This is paradise.

The Armory Show is a staple in New York's art scene. Considered one of the most important events in the city, The Armory is the leading international contemporary and modern art fair showcasing works from the 20th and 21st centuries. Bade Stageberg Cox has developed “Street Seats, a furniture project created for the Pier 94 Coffee Bar at The Show. The 50 chairs, found abandoned on the streets of New York, were repaired and given a new life with a coat of taxi cab yellow paint. Like the city’s residents, the chairs are an eclectic mix, migrating throughout the fair during its five-day run. The bottom of each chair is stamped and documented with the date and location it was recovered.” Aren't these awesome? These are just a few of the chairs from the project, but if you want to see all 50, you can do so here. Which one is your favorite? Actually, I have a couple. This would definitely be a fun DIY project to take on—of course, on a much smaller scale. BTW, you can get your hands on any of these as the chairs are available for purchase.

If you're in a monochromatic mood, mix textures, patterns and different shades of the color of your choice to add interest to the room. Also, with the large variety of fun wallpapers available to us now, you can pick a feature wall in your living room and use a colorful wall covering to create a focal point. One last but important tip: don't be afraid to be bold as bold can be a good thing. Dare to use combinations of colors you might have never thought of using. Accent pieces are a great way to introduce this color-blocking concept. Are you feeling adventurous now?

Sometimes it is the simplest things that are the most beautiful. It just takes a splash of good design and a drop of creativity to create that one piece that screams perfection. The Flask falls into that category. This limited-edition pendant lamp, designed by Florian and Sebastian, Schneider impresses through its simplicity. All it takes is a metal lampshade, an electric cord and a bulb and voilà, you've got a super chic fixture for your home. Who hasn't dreamed of living in a fabulous penthouse in New York City? Well, I have. Everyday. But for New Jersey interior designer Barbara Littman, that dream came true when she renovated this gorgeous space into an urban pied-à-terre. Wanting to be part of the hustle and bustle of this great city, Ms. Littman sought the guidance of architect and friend Robert D. Henry to help her create this sunny 2,400-square-feet modern haven. Although the color palette is rather limited, her choice of yellow as accent was a superb idea. It really warms up the space and makes a strong statement. I'm in love with this place. Aren't you?

I can't think of a place I'd rather be right this minute than in this dreamy and secluded refuge in the middle of the Caribbean. I'm already lounging in that gorgeous bar sipping on a delicious cocktail and ready to catch some rays in this picture-perfect heaven.
La Banane, located in the heart of a spectacular coconut grove in the island of Saint Barts, is the ideal spot to relax and take in every single detail that makes it so special. With a fusion of tropical chic and island sophistication, each corner of the hotel is exquisitely designed. The clever mix of furniture and accessories makes the decor stylish yet cozy. OK, I'm sorry but I have to leave you now so I can keep enjoying my imaginary mini-vacation at this spectacular retreat.
