FLAMING STYLE

This weekend marks the unofficial start of the much anticipated Summer season (at least for us living in the U.S since we're celebrating Memorial Day). With it, comes breezy days at the beach, fabulous family get-togethers and delicious afternoon barbecues in the backyard. So why not get your grilling started right with the chic Eva Solo Grill Globe. Following the simplicity of Danish design, the integrated lid incorporates a thermometer, which saves having it hanging on the grill or lying on the ground. The black bottom half of the grill is made of aluminium, while the lid and the four-legged stand are made of stainless steel. Also, the stand is designed so a table and a holder for various grill utensils can quickly be attached. Happy grilling!

CARIBBEAN COOL

I can't think of a place I'd rather be right this minute than in this dreamy and secluded refuge in the middle of the Caribbean. I'm already lounging in that gorgeous bar sipping on a delicious cocktail and ready to catch some rays in this picture-perfect heaven.
La Banane, located in the heart of a spectacular coconut grove in the island of Saint Barts, is the ideal spot to relax and take in every single detail that makes it so special. With a fusion of tropical chic and island sophistication, each corner of the hotel is exquisitely designed. The clever mix of furniture and accessories makes the decor stylish yet cozy. OK, I'm sorry but I have to leave you now so I can keep enjoying my imaginary mini-vacation at this spectacular retreat.

Living Typography

This fun alphabet is meant to be used to tell many stories. Besides serving as shelter for our feathery friends, these kooky letters and numbers can be hung anywhere outside your home as a nameplate or even as house numbers.“Living Typography” is the crafty work of designer Nishant Jethi, who reproduces all 26 letters of the alphabet and the numbers 0 to 9 in hollow wooden shapes, becoming funky bird houses. What a super duper idea!

White As a Feather

As our feathery friends start making their way back into our gardens, let's welcome them with these fun and stylish bird houses and feeders. They deserve a nice place to hang out while filling our terraces and backyards with sweet melodies. For sure, if I was lucky enough to have some outdoor space, a couple of these would be part of my decor. Although you can find them in different colors, I picked white — not just because I love everything white— but because their colorful plumes will stand out even more.

Colorful Flourishes

As you're getting ready to beautify your outdoor space and start looking for fun pieces to brighten it up, here are some whimsical chairs for you consideration. Inspired by the designs of traditional wrought iron fencing, the Versha Chair is designed by British artist and designer David Le Versha. Their playful backs and lovely colors make it hard for me to choose a favorite. They're so cute, they put a big grin of my face. By the way, these might also be a great choice to add some fun to your kitchen table. Oops, I almost forgot. These beauties are brought to you by the one and only Anthropologie.

Save It From A Rainy Day

As we get ready to enjoy our outdoor spaces and take care of our plants and blooms, it's important to be conscious about water conservation. To help us in this effort, young Dutch designer Bas van der Veer has created a rainwater collection system that plugs right into your downspouts, providing a watering can that fills up automatically when it rains. The Raindrop Mini, inspired by a drop of water, was designed specifically to be used on balconies and in small gardens. We all know recycling rainwater is a simple way of reducing household water consumption, so this genius system makes it easy for city dwellers to store and reuse rainwater in urban environments.
