It's not often that we come across furniture for our pets with such flair and beautiful details as this stunning collection by French company Bloom Room. Designed by Marc Ange, the Chimère line was just presented at Milan Design Week 2012 as part of exhibition Design France.Beyond comfort and functionality, each piece of furniture is a decorative element made with soft and sturdy materials combined with high quality manufacturing. The collection includes a dog niche, an aquarium, a rocking bird cage, a cat bed and a rodent cage. For sure, my Oliver would go mad for that cushy and über chic gray bed—plus it would look fabulous with our living room decor. Have a super duper weekend!!

A Sprouting Idea

It's been a while since I've featured goodies for our furry friends, so I thought this sleek nest for your pets will be a good reason to do so. Besides being a cozy niche for your dog or cat, the Kokon, by Creative Push, also doubles as a planter for your favorite perennials. Its contemporary design will blend in seamlessly with most decor, making a fabulous statement in any corner of your home or terrace. The Kokon also comes with a small plushy pillow so your precious little ones can curl up and enjoy a nice nap. By the way, it can also be used as a litter box by simply inserting a plastic tray through the back access door. Fishscape

Fishy never had it so good with this quirky fish bowl designed by Aruliden for Turkish design brand Gaia and Gino. The Fishscape is a 2.5 gallon handmade glass fish bowl with a textured interior landscape that gives its little dwellers a fun setting to swim around. And let's be honest, with or without little Nemo, the bowl is a gorgeous piece to showcase anywhere in your home. An Egg-cellent Habitat

Happy Easter everyone, I hope you're having a superb holiday. Look what I found on my Easter Egg Hunt: these adorable and stylish pods will offer your furry friends a safe and nurturing habitat to relax in. Why not add some pizzazz to Fido or Whiskers' life with a small sanctuary that reflects your personal style. The Cat's Meow

Even though I'm a dog person, I understand a cat lover's need to have stylish furniture and accessories for his or her pet. I've been noticing a trend where designers are paying more attention to our four-legged friends. Loyal Lux, by a Canadian duo of industrial designers, was born out of the idea that petfurniture and products needed to be different. The Cat Teepee (above) and the Canadian Cabin for fluffy little critters are two of their imaginative creations made of 100% recycled cardboard.
