DELICIOUS PANTONE

If you have a sweet tooth like me and an adoration for beautiful photography, you're going to fall head over heels in love with these delicious Pantone Tarts by French artistic director Emilie de Morello. Her passion for food, color and photography inspired her to create Griottes, an amazing blog where she shares her recipes and other things from around the kitchen with the most original and creative images. As we all know, the first thing that attracts us to food is the way it looks and is presented, and Emily truly masters this special craft. I absolutely enjoyed browsing through her amazing work, and I'm positive you will too.

STATE OF THE UNION OF HOME DECOR

I've always been fascinated by charts and graphics, not the boring kind, but those that enlighten us on on fun little things we might not otherwise hear about. HauteLook, a leading force in home sales offering discounted, top-quality brands like Candice Olson, California Modern Classics and Peter Max, has come up with this super cool graphic that shares some home decor shopping trends around the country. I was pleasantly surprised and entertained by these amusing set of facts and I thought you might fancy them too. Enjoy!

Paperlicious!

Paper is a versatile material with many uses, but it's not limited to writing, printing, drawing or packaging. It can also be used to make beautiful things to decorate your home with. These lovely vignettes shot by talented Dutch photographer Hotze Eisma will give you a few clever ideas on how to give this ancient material alternative uses. For instance, you can create a one-of-a-kind pendant lamp for your dining room by applying torn sheets of white glossy paper on a wicker basket, and complete the whole story by using brown packing paper as a table runner.
