In just a few hours the New Year will start, and boy I have a feeling it's going to be an amazing one for all of us. On my end, many new projects are on the horizon and I know a few of dreams will be coming a reality—and I want the same and much more for each and everyone of you. Whatever plans you might concocted to kick off 2013, I hope you partake in something fun and festive in the company of loved ones. At midnight I plan to be in Central Park to toast the New Year and cheer the many runners in costume that will join the yearly Midnight Run around the park. Cheers and I wish you and fun and healthy New Year!!

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful, and since we've no place to go, let it snow, let it snow let it snow... And isn't that the perfect time to enjoy a delish cup of mulled cider lounging by the fireside? I'd say so. From sleek to traditional, every single one of these cozy fireplaces add a warming glow to these beautiful rooms. If I could only have one in my pad.
Believe it or not December is already here and the Holiday spirit is everywhere you turn. So I guess it's my turn to start infusing some Christmas spark into my humble abode and get it ready for this festive occasion. This year I opted for not having a tree but instead create special little vignettes around my apartment. Here is some delightful eye candy from the home of Norwegian stylist and blogger An Magritt that beautifully capture the essence of the Season in that charming Nordic style. I hope they get you in the Holiday decorating spirit as they did to me.
Not having been born in this country, Thanksgiving wasn't a holiday I grew up celebrating. But after many joyful years in the United States, I've adopted this meaningful holiday as my own. I love what this day stands for: family, friends and being appreciative for everything life has giving us. One of the things I'm most grateful for is having the opportunity of living in a country where fighting for what you believe in is feasible and the possibilities of realizing one's dreams are endless. But the list doesn't stop there. There are many things I am thankful for this year and one of those is YOU, for your loyalty, boundless support and for keeping me motivated to continue sharing my love for design through this blog. If you're wondering what I'm doing today, I'm speding a dreamy weekend with the ones I hold dear in this gorgeous setting. I hope you're having a fantastic time with yours as well. Thanks a bunch and Happy Thanksgiving to all! Eduardo :)

I know, it's too early to be thinking about Christmas, we haven't even gone through Halloween or Thankgiving yet. Trust me, I'm not the kind of person that starts thinking of Holiday decorating months before. But when I found these delicious Pantone Xmas Balls by Seletti I sort of got in the spirit. I'm even thinking they're going to be this year's theme for my silver tinsel Christmas tree. Don't you love them?
I'm a big believer that home is where the heart is. I'm sure the creators behind these kooky pieces feel the same way. From fabulous sitting icons, to even a quirky heart-shaped sink, these adorable creations will definitely add some red-hot passion to your nest. Although “love is all we need,” owning any of them would be even sweeter. What can I say? I fell in love with all of them!
