This is so true. I always insist on being true to who I am, even though at times it's not an easy task. With all the information and inspiration overload I'm exposed to everyday, I remind myself daily to follow my instincts and apply what I absorb and make it my own. This motto I also take to heart on my designs. So guess what? Going against the flow is a good thing.
Inspiration via April and May
I couldn't agree more with Ms. Hepburn. When in doubt, Paris is always one great destination to visit. My all time favorite city after New York, Paris steals my heart every time I go. There's something so magical and mystical about it that makes me want to discover more and more of the many hidden treasures the City of Lights has to offer. As a matter of fact, a good friend of mine is leaving later today for a week long trip to the French capital. So let's wish her a bon voyage and may she fall in love with Paris as I already have.

I'm a firm believer that one should do what makes us happy. One of the things that makes my world go round is to find out what's next and best in the world of furniture design. So today, I'll be going to ICFF (New York's International Contemporary Furniture Fair) to see all the new and cool stuff we'll be seeing in stores soon. I'll be in the look out for new trends and hot decor designs, so don't miss tomorrow's post where I'll be sharing the ins and out of this much anticipated event.
