RAW SOPHISTICATION

Pulling off a run-down industrial look it's not an easy task, but interior designer George Livissianis successfully achieved the style in The Apollo, a handsome eatery in Sydney, Australia. Trying to imitate a Greed landscape, he went for simple, natural finishes and a rather dusty color palette. This place is all about textures and materials, giving the restaurant a raw sophistication, setting the perfect mood for a special dining experience.

Raw sophistication indeed! It's 'dressy' without being to overbearing. I like the raw and unfinished texture of the walls. As for the chairs, I might have put a philip starck ghost chairs instead.
