TRENDS: Fall Decor 2011

I can't believe how fast time is passing by. It seems like it was yesterday that we were talking about last Fall design trends. OMG, can you believe tomorrow is the first day of Fall already? Unbelievable! The good thing is that there new trends setting the tone for our homes this season. Style at Home magazine has rounded up their top three, and I'm loving them all:
WOOD: Its natural warmth and organic textures are the perfect combination to create a calming and cozy space.
NEW NEUTRALS: Taupe, Sage and Lilac are also the rage this season. They add life, depth and create a serene and glamorous ambiance.
MODERN GLOBAL: Mixing natural materials, worldly finds and exotic textiles and accessories add character and sophistication to any room. The mix of traditional and contemporary styles is still going strong. Also, adding patterns and two-tone geometrics can make all the difference on a quite decor.
So let's embrace the change of season and indulge in the hot looks that will make our nests ready and comfy for the colder months to come. These delicious images by David Prince are the perfect inspiration to steal some ideas from :)
