GIVEAWAY: Eco-friendly Drapes

Sorry, but entries for this giveaway are no longer accepted.

It's very exciting to see how more and more home decor manufacturers are joining the environmental movement and coming out with sustainable products for our pads. Curtainworks, a great online source for ready-made curtains, is one that has jumped on the green bandwagon by offering consumers an eco-friendly and stylish alternative in window treatments. Caress Voile Sheer curtain panels are fashionable, affordable and feature Repreve fibers made from 100% recycled materials including used plastic bottles. I'm so delighted Curtainworks has teamed up with us to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day and sponsor this giveaway. Luckily, they're giving a reader the opportunity to be part of the green revolution and are hooking her/him up with a pair of Caress Voile Sheers panels. The winner will be able to pick from selected lengths and colors (white, ivory or linen). Ok, ok, here's how you can get your hands on this fab freebie.

I recycle every chance I get! And I don't mind cleaning off used plastic forks and paper plates when I'm out to eat in order to recycle them. I just try to help in every small way I can. It adds up.

This will be the perfect wedding anniversary gift :) Given that we live in Germany, one of the countries were recycling is a big issue, we have learned a lot of ways to do do. We have cloth supermarket bags, always bring bottles back, and separate our garbage. We also do our best to close the water when we are not really using, for example while brushing our teeth and of course recycle all the paper we can. Of course we have to say in Germany you really have no excuses not to recycle. I try to go on my bicycle as much as I can or using public transport :)

I try not to buy products that can't be recycled and when I work in my studio I use recycled papers and non-toxic inks. I don't have a car and walk or take public transit everywhere.

Apparently my comment isn't getting through... although it might be because I'm having trouble liking you on facebook (I can't find you guys!)
Anyway what I do to be green: recycle everything I can, take short showers, air dry our clothes, don't have a car... any little thing I can think of; it makes a difference!

We should always try to adopt sustainable way of life and buy things that are environmental friendly so that we can play our part in conserving our natural resources.
