Transforming Vision

It takes a very creative mind to see the hidden potential of used and beat up scraps of furnishings. Thomas Wold is one of the lucky ones who has the vision to transform someone else's rummage into one-of-a-kind sculptural pieces of furniture. His multi-disciplinary studio in the San Francisco Bay Area focuses on the design and fabrication of original and personal creations. It's amazing how he takes fragments of old desks, cabinets, tables and other found objects from different styles and combines them to construct these incredibly whimsical compositions. I find them absolutely wonderful.
