White not?
Yes, yes I know, we're way into the second week of September and the style fairies out there are telling us to forget about anything and everything white. But guess what, I don't subscribe to that philosophy. To the contrary. I'm a huge fan of Mr. White and a firm believer that we should always welcome him into our homes as he lends us a beautiful canvas for us to design with. So my friends, don't be afraid of the light and embrace the brightness that a white filled room can bring. I've been so inspired by these gorgeous space designed by renowned Spanish interior designer Nacho Polo (first two images) that I will be giving my wooden floors a much needed coat of paint...guess what color.

And besides, what's more serene than a pearly bedroom after a long day's work to kick back and catch some well-deserved zzzzz. I know the feeeling.

But I'm sure that for some Mr. White can be a little intimidating, especially if they think he can be a little high maintenance. So it's alright if you feel more comfortable if he brings some colorful friends along. This will ease your concerns and make your life a little easier.

Anabella, don't they look great? Actually, this is the Madrid home of interior designer Nacho Polo who's now based in Miami. Now you can see how great they'll look above your mantle.
Monica, I agree with you. Those white rooms are dreamy and I love their simplicity.
I like this a lot. But, I would like to see how can I use this ideas for small places, for example a studio.
