Moooi: beautiful

I have always been a huge fan of Marcel Wanders, Dutch designer and one of the masterminds behind the outrageously creative design company MOOOI, which means BEAUTIFUL in Dutch - they decided to add an extra O because it's extra beautiful. The original store is located in Amsterdam, but as of yesterday the British capital has the amazing pleasure to house the first permanent showroom and UK headquarters. 

The showroom, located at The Docks' White Building, displays Moooi's varied collection designed by not only Wanders but also by an array of other recognized designers. By far, this is what makes this place so unique. The minimalist ambiance of the rooms is the perfect setting for such an amazing selection that was curated in a very inventive manner. Among the iconic pieces on display is my favorite Dear Ingo Chandelier (below) which I'll always crave.
