Moooi: Amsterdam

In my recent trip to Amsterdam, one of my must-visit places on my list was the famous Moooi store and gallery. To feel like locals, we rented bikes and headed to one of the oldest part of town where this hot spot of interior goodies and unique gifts is located. When you first come in into the building, also housing Dutch designer Marcel Wander's headquarters, you're welcomed by the beautiful Raymond lamp and stunning mosaic tile floors.

The impressive 7500 square-feet gallery exhibits a variety of Moooi items and historical pieces & accessories from around the world. The amazingly curated collection makes you want to get your hands on everything. Besides the magnificent space and collection, the visit was made more enjoyable by Sabine Septer, who gave us a very delightful tour filled with fun facts about the gallery.

Back in September, Moooi also opened a permanent showroom and headquarters in London. So if you happen to be in any of these to cities, make sure you visit these stores to enjoy the Moooi experience. You won't be disappointed. I really felt like a local after leaving the store and trying to balance myself, and the goodies I purchased, on the bike ride back to the hotel.
